Classic bikes

The bike is sold, good luck to the new owner.

A bit of information about me and the Ducati Scrambler owned by me until December 2010

This Ducati Scrambler was originally owned by a man in Tigerton, Wisconsin, USA.

The Scrambler was imported to Denmark from the U.S.A. for a couple of years ago by a local collector. It was then traded for a road racing machine of some kind.  It was the transformed to a classic moto cross racer. The owner then looked at it and decided that it actually a shame to thrash it on the local MX track.
He placed the bike on a technical museeum in a nearby town. The Scrambler caught my attention when I was visiting the museeum with a friend. We were out riding our old bikes (I rode a 1971 Yamaha R5 at the time) and just stopped by the museeum. My friend knew who owned the Ducati Scrambler on display and then the deal was done a few months later.

Drivers day 2010

Together with the local vintage bike club I went on a short ride on drivers day. Afterwords we gathered with some car owners on the local marina. A bite to eat from the restaurant and the day was completed. See pictures from the day here: Meetings - bikes

Touring - in Sweden

Just home from a weekend trip to Sweden. Three guys on three old, and very different bikes. We went by ferry to Sweden. Our plan was to see the Museums of the two Swedish car manufacturers Volvo and SAAB. And to see the beautiful town of Trollhättan. See much more about the road trip in the touring section.

Classic enduro from Sweden

I found this clip on you tube. It is from a classic enduro race in Sweden called "Tångarallyt". Check this out and see these fantastic machines at work. The very first bike in the video is a Danish build "Nimbus" a straight four cylinder 750cc bike. There are still a lot of these old bikes here in denmark. But I have never seen it used like this. Check it out here:
