Weekly meeting at Kalø Castle, Denmark July 2011 During family holiday we went to check out the weekly meeting at Kalø. The meeting is situated next to at mid-evil castle ruin. The weather was nice and both the scenery and the cars looked their best. Classic Porsche Trackday, Støvring, Denmark September 2010 I went to check out this meeting toghter with my six year old son Victor. Nice weather and very nice cars. Nothing on four wheels sounds as nice as a flat 6 on full throttle. Please note Mr. Peter Iversen's 906 racecar, what a nice weapon for all the worlds classic race tracks. Below you can also see a short video made the same day. Vintage meeting in Forsvik, Sweden During family vacation in Sweden, I saw a poster for a monthly vintage meeting. The meeting is at a small town called Forsvik. The most beautiful Swedish Scenery you can imagine. And very nice cars to look at. I came a little late, so most of the cars was already on the road back home again. I took some photos of the few remaining cars, enjoy. Sweden Power Tour 2010 Musclecars and nothing but musclecars. The tour around the big lake of Vättern was foramerican muscle cars only. Compared to the Danish American Car scene there was a lot of completely new cars. Maybe because of the low price tags in Sweden. Check the gallery there are some real beauties in there. The photos are taken just outside the big Fortress in the Swedish town Karlsborg. Sindal Veterantræf 2010 (Sindal Vintage Meeting) I attended this meeting on the good old Duc. There weren't that many bikes this year. Most of the bikes on display were too new to catch my eye. But there were a lot of nice cars. Both US cars and all kind of European cars. Enjoy the pictures. Classic meeting in Dronninglund, Denmark - April 2010 This meeting was intendend for cars, bikes, mopeds, trucks and other classic and vintage vehicles. But there was only three bikes. My Duc, my friends BSA and an old very fine BMW. All other vehicles was cars. Therefore I have placed the gallery here in this section. Nice and cosy meeting, but a bit cold. Volvo car museeum in Gothenburg, Sweden Porsche 356 meeting in Denmark
Last year the annual European meeting for the beatiful Porsche 356 was held in Denmark. See the pictures and enjoy.
The racecar is a Porsche 906 owned by Mr. Peter Iversen, Denmark. A well known Porsche restorer. There
was about 200 Porsche's almost all of them 356's. I met them at a small airfield where they should complete
a small rally stage.
Above video clip is also from the Porsche 356 meeting. Mr. Peter Iversen demonstrates his beautiful Porsche 906 race car. The passenger crying for help is a german journalist covering the event. He was himself driving in a very nice racy 356. It's my son that talks and shouts when I was filming the 906. He was 3 years old at that time. Enjoying himself watching cars with me. Visiting the SAAB museeum in Trollhättan, Sweden - 2006
During family vacation in Sweden, we visited the Saab factory's own museeum.
Saab's are a little special, even today. But nothing compared with some of the cars on display.
Those two-stroke 3-cylinder early cars are just so fine. Check out the two-engined red car, I bet it
sounds awesome. Also check the black Saab 99 Turbo originally drived by Stig Blomqvist to a 10th
place in the World rally championship.
Sindal Veterantræf 2007 I went to this meeting on my Yamaha YR5. A compelete success. People liked my oil-burning blue-smoking two-stroker. Got a lot of credits. This meeting is for all kinds of old vehicles (cars, bikes, trucks and farming equipment) See the pictures and enjoy. |
